ASN by AQUATECH® is the latest Tema Sistemi patent designed to protect prestigious and luxury environments in a discreet way.
Thanks to Aquatech® technology, it quickly extinguishes fires by producing a very fine mist that can be directed without causing damage, a fundamental characteristic in high-value locations where preserving furnishings and objects is essential.
Its covers, completely customizable in colours and materials, allow the nozzle to blend in to ensure zero architectural impact.

How it works
ASN by Aquatech® is able to extinguish the most severe fires thanks to the generation of a turbulent motion nebulization of tiny directional water droplets.
The micro-drops of water produced by water mist fire systems, before reaching the fire, transform into steam, which expands, depriving the fire of the oxygen necessary to sustain combustion, thus effectively suffocating it.
The removal of oxygen from the combustion occurs only in the immediate vicinity of the fire bed. In all other areas the percentage of oxygen remains unchanged, allowing normal breathing of the people present. Furthermore, the sudden change of state from water to steam allows a high reduction in heat and a drastic decrease in temperatures, preventing the self-feeding of the fire itself.
SMART ACTIVATION TECHNOLOGY: IMMEDIATE LIMITATION OF THE FIRE
Thanks to its Smart Activation Technology it prevents the spread of flames: once the first nozzle is automatically activated to increase heat, the adjacent nozzles are activated to contain the fire.
TEST TOOL: EXTREMELY SIMPLIFIED MAINTENANCE
A special test tool is supplied with the system which allows maintenance operations to be speeded up and simplified as much as possible.
It will be sufficient to insert the test tool into the nozzle and, by simply rotating it half a turn, you can check the water coming out and therefore the correct functioning, avoiding long and expensive operations of dismantling the components.

What is the ASN nozzle and where is it used?
ASN (Atomized Smart Nozzle) is the new nozzle designed by Tema Sistemi to protect civil and naval environments, as
well as artistic and cultural heritage. Using Aquatech® technology, it rapidly extinguishes fires by producing an ultra-
fine, directional water mist.
How does the water discharged by the ASN nozzle extinguish the fire?
The nozzle discharges high-pressure water micro-droplets that act in three ways at the same time: they cool the fire,
reduce oxygen around the flames, and attenuate radiant heat. This process stops the fire effectively while helping to
avoid damage to furnishings and protected assets.
How does Smart Activation technology help contain flames?
Smart Activation technology prevents flames from spreading through an automatic, electrically controlled activation
system. Once the first nozzle is activated, the adjacent nozzles automatically start operating to contain the fire
immediately.
What are the aesthetic and safety advantages of the ASN nozzle?
The ASN nozzle is designed to be fully concealed and integrated into the design of the space in which it is installed,
ensuring zero architectural impact. Its structure - available in stainless steel or marine bronze - also helps prevent
tampering and accidental activation.

Maintenance is simple, fast, and innovative. Thanks to the dedicated Test Tool developed by the R&D department, it is
possible to verify nozzle flow rate and test system operation in just a few seconds, without dismantling any components
or interrupting operations. The system also supports remote maintenance and monitoring through Tema Sistemi’s
server.
